Treat it as a starting point, not an appraisal. The estimate is produced by a language model reasoning about length, keywords, extension and brandability — the same signals a broker looks at first. It has no access to live marketplace listings or private sale records, so a real sale can land far above or far below the range. What actually makes a domain name valuable?

Short beats long, real words beat invented strings, and .com beats everything else — often by an order of magnitude. Commercial keywords that people already search for add real value because the domain arrives with built-in intent. Working against you: hyphens, digits, awkward spelling, anything you have to spell out on the phone, and any name that brushes up against an existing trademark.

Does this tool tell me if the domain is available to register?

Is the estimator free, and are there any limits?

It is free and needs no account. There is a fair-use cap of 12 requests per hour per visitor so the tool stays fast for everyone. We do not store the domain names you look up.
